Quartier Intelligence Artificielle inc. ("Quartier AI", "we", or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy and the confidentiality of your personal information. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, retain, and protect personal information in connection with our website (the "Website").This Policy is designed to comply with the Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector (CQLR, c. P-39.1, as amended by Law 25), the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA), and all other applicable Canadian and Quebec legislation.By accessing the Website, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy.
In accordance with Section 3.1 of the Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector (as amended by Law 25), Quartier AI has designated a person responsible for the protection of personal information. Quartier AI maintains a privacy governance program in accordance with Law 25. This program establishes policies and practices governing the collection, use, disclosure, retention, and destruction of personal information, as well as procedures for incident response and request handling.
4.1 Information Provided Directly
When you submit a request via our contact form, we collect: first and last name, title and function, organization name, organization size, professional email address, and description of the operational challenge. You may choose whether or not to provide some of this information, except for what is necessary to respond to you.
4.2 Automatically Collected Information
When you visit the Website, we automatically collect certain technical data: IP address, browser type and version, operating system, pages visited, session duration, and referring URL. This data is also collected via Google Analytics and Meta Pixel (see the Cookie Policy).
4.3 Information We Do Not Collect
The Website is informational in nature. We do not collect sensitive information (health, biometric, or genetic data), financial or payment information, and we do not require the creation of a user account.
You agree to use the Website only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:–Damage, overload, or impair the operation of the Website, or interfere with others' use of the Website;–Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any system, network, or data associated with the Website;–Use automated tools, robots, scrapers, or similar technologies to access or extract content from the Website without prior written authorization;–Reproduce, distribute, or modify any Website Content, except for personal and non-commercial use expressly permitted by law;–Transmit or distribute viruses, malware, or any other harmful code;Violate any applicable law or regulation, including Canadian federal laws and the laws of the Province of Quebec. Quartier AI does not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for commercial purposes. We may disclose it in the following cases:–To third-party service providers (hosting, analytics, messaging) acting on our behalf, subject to contractual confidentiality obligations;–When required by law, court order, or valid legal process;–To protect the rights, property, or safety of Quartier AI, our users, or the public;As part of a business transaction (merger, acquisition), in accordance with the requirements of Law 25.
Quartier AI's data is hosted in Canada. We do not transfer your personal information outside of Quebec without first conducting a Privacy Impact Assessment (PIA) confirming a level of protection equivalent to that provided by Quebec law.The use of Google Analytics and Meta Pixel involves the transfer of certain browsing data to servers located in the United States. Appropriate contractual safeguards are in place. You can refuse these transfers by disabling non-essential cookies.
We retain personal information only for as long as necessary for the purposes for which it was collected:–Contact form submissions: retained for three (3) years from the last communication, unless a business relationship is established;Analytical data: retained in aggregated or anonymized form.Upon expiration of these periods, the information is securely destroyed or anonymized, using methods appropriate to its sensitivity.
Under Law 25 and PIPEDA, you have the following rights regarding your personal information:
–Right to access the information we hold about you;–Right to rectification of inaccurate, incomplete, or ambiguous information;–Right to withdraw consent at any time;–Right to de-indexing and cessation of dissemination, where permitted by law;Right to data portability of computerized information collected from you.To exercise these rights, please contact us at info@quartierai.com. We will respond within thirty (30) days of receiving your request. You may also file a complaint with the Commission d’accès à l’information du Québec (CAI) or the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
Quartier AI conducts Privacy Impact Assessments (PIAs) as required by Law 25, particularly before any transfer of information outside Quebec and before the implementation of new systems or technologies involving personal information.
In the event of a privacy incident posing a risk of serious harm, Quartier AI will promptly notify the Commission d’accès à l’information du Québec (CAI) and the individuals concerned, in accordance with Article 3.5 of Law 25. The incident will be recorded in our privacy incident register.
Quartier AI implements administrative, technical, and physical safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity of the information collected: data encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS), secure hosting infrastructure, access controls, and confidentiality obligations for employees.
The Website is not intended for individuals under 14 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 14. If we become aware that such collection has occurred without the required parental consent, we will take the necessary steps to delete this information.
Quartier AI reserves the right to modify this Policy at any time. Any modifications will be published on the Website with an updated effective date. Your continued use of the Website after such modifications constitutes your acceptance of the updated Policy.
This Privacy Policy is written in French. In accordance with Quebec legislation, the French version shall prevail in case of any discrepancy with a translation.
